Construct, along with its sister company “Hambledon plumbing and Heating Ltd” have just purchased an 18-foot pitch side advertising board at the foot of the North Stand at Fratton Park, the home to Portsmouth Football Club. The companies were invited to attend a meeting at Fratton Park on the 17th August 2023. With the prospect of competing in the Championship next season, with that bringing the tv cameras, the company directors were only too keen to snap up a board in view of the birds nest. Contract Completed in Pagham

Over the past 6-7 months Jon and his team have been refurbishing a beach front property in the sunny holiday town of Pagham, on the south cost of England. The build was engineered to re-work the inner layout of the property to not only create more of a livable, breathable space but to also bring the epic beach view indoors. The main technique employed to do this was to create a long corridor through the very centre of the property, this meant relocating an existing bathroom which previously had blocked this view. With an opened out kitchen/ dining/ living area the corrider, emphasied by the length ways direction of the new wood flooring drags the senses through the house and out in the direct view of the Solent. A truly inspiring piece of design. The architect “Anthony Brown of Dwell Projects” not only managed to modernise the building with its contemporay cladding and fresh redner but he also managed to blend the old with the new so not to lose the character of the original building.

Although this project over-ran due to some unforseen weather and longer than usual self-leveling drying times, we can honestly say we have enjoyed piecing this one together. Please check out some phots of this project which will hopefully be uploaded shortly – March 2023
